Indian Microfinance MicroInsurance

The MicroInsurance Focus Resource Center promotes sound practices in insurance provision to low-income persons through the exchange of knowledge and experience. Microinsurance is an important risk management tool for low-income households, but as a sophisticated financial service, poses many new challenges to the microfinance industry and other stakeholders.
